52 Week Challenge – Week 50: Christmas, On our Mantle

52 Week Challenge – Christmas week #3! Two more of my favorite Christmas decorations – our stocking holders and a Christmas cottage!  These stocking holders were the first Christmas decoration I bought for my first house and at they were a huge splurge from Restoration Hardware.  After 8 years I still love them (and like I dork I still keep them in their original boxes in the Restoration Hardware bag).

This little cottage was painted by my Mother and I’ve loved it since I was a little girl.  I have no idea what it is that I love so much about this little cottage butI just can’t get rid of it. It just says Christmas to me.  :-)
