This week’s challenge is more than one photo because I just couldn’t narrow it down – sooooo much to be thankful for! This year we went to my brother’s house for Thanksgiving, and it was a really relaxing afternoon of eating way too many carbs and losing to Mother in Scrabble.
My sister-in-law always does a great job hosting Thanksgiving – not a single detail is missed in the table setting. My personal favorite is the individual salt and pepper shakers.
Everyone put a leaf on the tree listing what we were thankful for. I think my favorite leaf was my Daddy’s – it just said simply “My wife Clarice.” I think we’re all especially thankful for her this year.
There was also a really cute pilgrim there!
As always – WAAAYYY too much food, but just enough tryptophan to guarantee a good afternoon nap.
The hostess with the mostess doing the official “Martha Stewart” photo. :-D
After lots of carbs and a good afternoon nap, it was time to scout the circulars and plan for Black Friday shopping. As usual, we OWNED Black Friday – front row parking, no waiting in long lines and hit all of our list must-haves. Planning is critical for Black Friday success and Mother and I are veterans with the receipts to prove it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Gobble, Gobble!
